Dementia & Alzheimer’s Care Nurses
Our companions receive specialised training to perform their duties.
Not all companions are trained dementia or Alzheimer’s care nurses, but can be in addition to their existing training and providing companion services. Companions form a special bond with their residents and residents look forward to their visits.

When it comes to dementia and Alzheimer’s nurses, and companions, communication skills and providing high-quality care is of utmost importance. The care environment can make a huge difference to the lives of people with dementia and Alzheimer’s.

In addition to our companions, Livewell also has round the clock specialised nurses.
