Quality of Life for our residents whilst providing world class dementia care has always been the priority for Livewell. This year saw many exciting new developments for Livewell and what we are most proud of is the launch of the new Bryanston Village. This newly developed facility oozes luxury and still provides the comforts of home for our residents.

Livewell offers a wide range of rooms for families to choose from. Some rooms offer residents a gorgeous view of the grounds, there are also couples rooms for those moving to Livewell with their spouse as well as single rooms. Our rooms have been specially designed for those living with dementia. Every piece of furniture has been carefully selected and placed, while size, color and texture of each item was all taken into consideration when custom designing the rooms. Our rooms are spacious and beautiful.
Residents are allowed and encouraged to bring their own furniture with them which also helps with familiarity. Many of our residents have brought their favourite chair, reading desk or even decor items like photographs, paintings and more. Having these familiar objects around your loved one will help make the transition so much easier. Moving into a new environment can be extremely stressful for someone living with dementia and we try to make this new move as easy and less traumatic as possible.
Getting to know the facility
Unlike other facilities, Livewell is very strict about our no restriction of movement policy. We want our residents to feel as if this is their home, and they are free to move around as they please. This however does not mean that they are not supervised. Our lovely companions are always available to accompany residents, especially on those afternoon strolls through the garden.
We are proud to be a pet friendly establishment. We already have a few creatures roaming our grounds which entertain the residents for hours. Introducing pets to your loved one living with dementia is very important and we covered the numerous benefits on a recent blog post which can be read here.
