Livewell Wellness Talks and Dementia Support Groups
Our aim is to equip families, spouses and care providers with ways to sustain themselves when they face difficulty or when a spouse is diagnosed with dementia. The aim of Livewell Wellness Talks and dementia support groups is to provide a place to connect with other caregivers and the Livewell team who truly understand what you are going through. Whether you need information about caregiving, want to share your story or simply need to be in a safe environment to seek help, we are here to help.

Dementia Care Support Group
We understand that the pressures of living a busy lifestyle doesn’t always allow caregivers the time to attend our weekly support groups. However, the need for carer and family support is immense and it is with this in mind that we decided to launch an online dementia support group on Facebook. Our online support group provides a place to connect with other caregivers and the Livewell team who truly understand what you are going through. Whether you need information about caregiving, wanting to share your story or simply need to be in a safe environment to seek help, we are here to help.
The group is closed, meaning members will have to request access to join and discussions will be monitored by the Livewell team to ensure complete consideration for all members. All members will need to adhere to our community guidelines which hold confidentiality and compassion at the centre.
We encourage you to join this group and use it as your source of comfort, support and a shoulder to lean on. Because it is a closed group, only other members will be able to see your comments.
