I have been at Livewell for 7 years now. I remember that because my first day was on my birthday, the 7th of February 2011. That first day was fantastic, especially the people.

I love our dementia patients very, very much. I give them my all. I get one particular resident who always asks me why I haven’t done her nails yet, even if I have! There’s so many personalities you deal with so it’s always interesting. I could write a book on each of them!

Another resident will come to the salon and ask me to turn the rollers up and down in her hair. She always wants her hair to be curly, so that’s what I have done since day one. She just wants her special hair treatment and her daughter from England thanks me everyday for her doing her mother’s hair, because she takes photos and sends them to her.
